Program Director
Hello,
My name is Ambreen, and I am the Program Supervisor. The children lovingly call me Amber. Working in a Montessori-based daycare program inspires and motivates me every day. I am passionate about using Montessori philosophy and techniques to create meaningful educational and social experiences—bringing clarity to fundamental concepts during the most important developmental stage of a child’s life, all while ensuring they learn with joy.
I was born and raised in Pakistan. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Microbiology, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a Montessori Teacher Diploma from AMI (Holland). AMI is the original global organization, founded by Maria Montessori in 1929, dedicated to preserving and promoting authentic Montessori education for children worldwide. In addition, I am a certified Child Development Supervisor with Alberta Staff Qualifications.
I served as the Principal of a well-renowned Montessori school for six years, after having worked there for about eight years as a Teacher and Academic Coordinator. After moving to Edmonton with my family, I continued my journey in early childhood education, taking on various roles such as Childcare Supervisor, Montessori Program Leader, and Assistant Director in reputable childcare centres across the city. Above all, my greatest strength is that I truly enjoy working with children. Thank you for choosing The Montessori Child Development Centre. Your family will always remain special to us.
Thank you.
